I was so excited to see the Les Rythmes Digitales remix (Stuart Price remix on Radio1, LRD Remix on blogs, no idea why) of D.A.N.C.E. played on Radio 1 last weekend and I finally got my hands on it today, and I gotta say, it's mad quality!For those who don't know who LRD is, his real name is Stuart Price, most accomplished works to date would be the Madonna's "Confessions" album and also touring with her on the "Confessions" concerts. He goes by a few monikers, Jacques Lu Cont, Paper Faces, Thin White Duke for his remixing works and released an album under the LRD name back in 2000. On top of that also plays in a band, Zoot Woman. Whew, does one guy really need to have so many aliases?
Anyways, he's one of the artistes that got me listening to electronic dance music (the other's Daft Punk) and seems like he also play apart in influencing Justice too as they dropped LRD's "Sometimes" during their sets pretty often.
And now have a listen to the track, LRD did a good job keeping the 'chirpy' elements in D.A.N.C.E. unlike the other remixes (MSTRKRFT and Alan Braxe) where they take it away.
